Demand for Security Information Management Remains Strong; netForensics Boasts Industry’s Largest Installed Customer Base
Edison, NJ – October 10, 2006 – netForensics, Inc., the pioneer and recognized market leader in Security Information Management (SIM), today announced that sales remain strong as the company closed over 150 deals within the past year helping to contribute to five-year triple-digit revenue growth. With 450+ customers including Career Education Corporation, Interval International, M&T Bank, and USAID, netForensics has the largest installed customer base that includes organizations across all major vertical markets including the public sector and financial services.
Driving sales for the company is the most recent release of netForensics nFX Open Security Platform (nFX OSP), the company’s SIM platform built to provide Actionable Security Intelligence to users throughout the enterprise. nFX OSP offers comprehensive decision support capabilities with enhanced risk management, historical correlation and integrated incident response functionality. These new capabilities are designed to transform historical, real-time, and prospective security data into actionable information by intuitively presenting insider and external threat information and delivering the information across the enterprise to maintain compliance, reduce risk, and ensure business continuity.
Other key accolades and achievements in the past 12 months include:
"The past 12 months has indeed been a banner year for netForensics. When selecting a SIM vendor, end users should consider a vendor’s existing customer base, technology roadmap and testimonials from third-party sources," said Dennis Cline, CEO of netForensics. "We have exceptional strength in all three of these areas and will continue to drive forward and lead with a clear vision."
Partnerships are also playing a key role in the current growth of netForensics. Cisco continues to remain an important partner with the two organizations jointly closing several large enterprise-wide SIM deals over the past 12 months. In addition, netForensics was one of 13, out of approximately 150 independent software vendor partners, to receive an HP OpenView 2005 Achiever’s Award at the most recent HP Software Universe conference. netForensics is an HP OpenView Platinum Business Partner within the Enterprise Management Alliance Program and was recognized for its revenue success in leveraging HP OpenView sales for fiscal year 2005.
"HP and netForensics understand that our customers need prioritized, actionable security intelligence from diverse enterprise technologies while addressing the requirements of regulations, policies and audits," said Chuck Neal, Vice President, Channels and Alliances, Software, HP. "Our companies have partnered to deliver an extensible solution for security event correlation, monitoring, incident management and compliance reporting."
